Wonderful stay!! We loved this place. Right next to the lower falls and the walk to the upper falls is worth it! (I might have upper and lower mixed up!) the cabin style king room had a real wood burning fireplace! also a picture window towards the woods. Such a great place, and the staff was exceptional - especially, Martin, Brianna, Shannon, and Nyla. I'll review the restaurant as well. gourmet food with a blazing fire, what could be better!!? Great place right on the parkway Had a very pleasant 2 night stay here, the rooms were well equipped and clean, bed was very comfortable, there was a fridge and coffee maker a microwave can be borrowed but we didnt need one, a small dining table and e chairs, a continental breakfast was available every korning which was an added bonus, there is heating and our cabin also had a fireplace we didnt use it but I expect on a very cold night it would be lovely, the onsite restaurant is lovely and the staff are all very friendly and helpful, I would stay here again - 9/28/2023

Excellent lodging away from the crowds Loved the local, family feel of Sunwapta. Rooms were sparkling clean, hotel and restaurant staff were friendly and service was excellent. It was nice to stay in Smaller hotel away from the crowds. After reservation was confirmed, the staff send some very helpful sightseeing and hiking guides. - 9/23/2023

Beautiful and friendly All of the staff are fantastic and friendly. They make you feel like family. The cabins and the grounds are clean and beautiful. The walk to the Falls is not far at all, and the Sunwapta Falls are magnificent. - 8/21/2023

Great location and nice accommodations. Very nice hotel and a great location. There are not many options to spend the night on the Icefields Parkway. This one has a great restaurant and includes a continental breakfast. They have a takeaway counter for quick eats and a small gift shop. It is a quick drive to the Sunwapta Falls parking lot. A great palce to stay on the Icefields Highway. We drove the wonderful Icefields Highway from Lake Louise and just as we were getting tired and ready to stop driving we arrived at the Sunwapta Mountain Lodge. Don't expect a luxury hotel-but it's a basic, clean room in a lovely setting. We enjoyed the fireplace in our room. The bed was very comfortable with a cozy comforter. The included breakfast was simple continental selections and adequate. It was a quick walk to the beautiful Sunwapta Falls down the road. It was an easy drive to Jasper.The staff at the Sunwapta Mountain Lodge was excellent, from the person on the phone in my initial phone call for information to the waitress in the restaurant, the woman running the nice gift shop, the people in the office. We had to cancel our stay here for the last 2 years because of Covid, we're so happy we finally made it there for 2 happy nights. - 10/18/2022

Amazing The best stay in our Canada trip, and it was all thanks to the amazing staff.The room is great, the restaurant is delicious, but the staff are the nicest people we met here in Canada. Everyone were super helpful and truly interested and dedicated towards making our trip to Jasper unique. Martin, the restaurant's manager, was simply amazing. We asked him about wildlife spotting areas and he took out a map and drew the best wildlife spotting areas on it. We also asked him about the northern lights, and he told us the best night to go see them and where, gave us his tripod and we got to see it!This place is amazing, stay here to meet awesome people! - 10/05/2022

Great location and stay We had two nights at Sunwapta Falls lodge as part of a three week road trip around BC and Alberta.There appear to have been some mixed reviews on TripAdvisor, which is hard to understand.The lodge is on the Icefields Parkway - in the middle of the park, yes it’s rustic but that’s what I expect in the middle of a National park. We have stayed in many US national park lodges that are equally or more rustic than Sunwapta.We had a cabin style queen room, which although it didn’t have the porch that some of the other cabins did, had plenty of space to sit out.The room was plenty big enough, and we loved the fire place. The lodge offer a fire pack for you to collect to use the fire, which was lovely on a chilly September evening. We are at the lodge both nights, and the food was really good. Plenty of choice, with several specials too.The included continental breakfast was fine for us, fruit, bagels, toast. There was also an option to buy hot items.All of the staff here were great, and we would return.Location is ideal for visiting the glacier, Jasper and all the sights up and down the stunning icefields parkway. Short walk to Sunwapta Falls too. - 9/19/2022

Book this stay good bed good food! Good stay with a mountain view. Really good food at night, The dinner was do good. I love it! Great bed and shower. House was basic but clean. Anniversary Vacation Everything at Sunwapta is well maintained and very clean. Our cabin was perfect for a couple! Daily breakfast was delicious! The gift shop is really amazing, better than many in Jasper! We went to disconnect and we did! No wifi or cell service seemed like a gift! - 8/31/2022

Cute cabins near beautiful waterfall We enjoyed our stay at this cute and quiet resort. Cabins were small but had fireplaces and very clean. To my surprise they offered daily house keeping. You could walk or take a car to the waterfall. They offered a continental breakfast with cereals and pastry. Nice restaurant but very limited dinner menu. Deli with snacks and nice gift shop. About 40 minute drive to Jasper. Nice staff - 8/27/2022
